universal e-mail not responding

i have created new custom form using CSS form builder for submission and i am trying to submit those forms using universal mail but this is the error that i am getting on php error log:

[21-Apr-2010 15:06:34] PHP Warning: preg_match() [<a href='plugins/function.preg-match'>function.preg-match</a>]: Unknown modifier '(' in C:\Inetpub\www.allergyclinicoftulsa.com\site\allergyclinicoftulsa.com\WA_ValidationToolkit\WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php on line 206

this is what i have in line 206 on WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php

if (preg_match("/".$dateFormatStr."/i", $value)==0) {

The temp link to check out the test form is mail.php

If i use the regular contact form i do receive mail, so i know that the mail part is set up properly but i do not know what am i doing wrong over here.

Thanks

It looks like there is a problem with the validation, please send a copy of your mail.php page so I can examine the code.

hmmm, the reformat option on the date validation looks to be the problem.

Double click the server validation server behavior, then edit the data validation, set the formatting option to the format you want the data reformatted to.
