Submit Button in email

The Submit button name and value are showing up in the email along with the other fields in the form. ( button - Submit). Is there anyway to leave this out? I searched the various files created by the extension and don't see where this value is retrieved and added to the mail body.

Are you using one of the preset template files for the body of the message? If so you can open that page in the webassist > email > templates folder to add in just the values that you would like to see.

Open this page and go to Bindings > Form Data, and select the page with the form on it. Now you will have that form's elements available to you from the bindings panel. Just drag and drop them onto the page where you would like to see them.

It is this code that is making it print out all of the values:

php:
<?php

foreach( $_POST as $pkey => $pval ){
  if (!
RemoveValue($pkey,$remove,$removeBegins,$removeEnds,$removeIncludes))  {
?>
<?php
echo(str_replace("\n","<BR />",(is_array($pval)?implode(", ",$pval):$pval))); ?>
<?php

}
}
?>

Thanks Eric, sorry it took so long to acknowledge your response. Yes, I was using one of the content templates, and was able to bind the data from the form as you directed. Works like a charm!

Thanks also for exposing another function of DW that I wasn't aware of - in the past I always hand coded the bindings or even using sessions variables at times (bad).

That is good to hear, glad it worked out. I use the bindings myself quite a bit. It is a huge time saver.
