File Attachment Issues UE4

I really like the latest version of UE, and the file attachment feature is nice. However, I am having a few issues.

1. First, I tried on a Windows server running PHP 5. The email came through, but not the attachments - using a file field and upload. Sometimes on larger files, over 1 meg the page timed out. is this because it is on a Windows server or the server model is set to ASP/vbscript?

2. Testing with another host on Linux server. No problem uploading/attaching and receiving emails and attachments. However, the progress bar is not working. Any standard progress bar will that shows just an animation, but the Universal Email style bar will only display the modal window, but will not show the actual progress - just the first part of the bar, and the text above the bar with the number zero.

Edit (Found answer to number 2 - the progress bar is not meant to display the progress of the upload, but the progress of sending a larger number of emails when sending to a mailing list)

3. Finally, is there a way to attach/upload the file before submitting the entire form? I would like the user to browse for the file, then "attach" (upload) the file, display the filename, and then submit all this together as a whole.

the problems with the attachments not working on the windows server may be with the php.ini settings. especial the timing out problem on larger files.

See the following for information on php.ini settings that can effect upload:
wap_upload.asp?page=php2

It can be done where the file is uploaded on another page, you would need to store the file name in a session variable. Then in universal email, use the session variable value for the attachment.
