Changging Footer Name

Hi webassist,

I would like to ask you how can change the footer from

Copyright 2009 © <a href="http://www.webassist.com" rel="external">PHP Scripts</a> powered by WebAssist.</div>

to my own footer such like .Copyright 2010© <a href="http://www.mywebpage.com" rel="external">PHP Scripts</a>

I can only change the index footage using dreamweaver but the other pages couldnt. When I change the footage code using notepad and upload to the server, it goes wrong (broken page).

So here What should I do?

Regards
shauqie

In Dreamweaver with your store site selected, do a 'Find and Replace' (DW Menu > Edit > Find and Replace)

Find in: Entire current local site
Search: Source Code

Find: Copyright 2009 © <a href="http://www.webassist.com" rel="external">PHP Scripts</a> powered by WebAssist.

Replace: Copyright 2010 © <a href="http://www.mywebpage.com" rel="external">Your Link Text Here</a> Any unlinked text here.

Uncheck all the boxes and then click on 'Replace All'

It should make the changes to about 60 pages.

Another way

Hi

another solution is to load up the admin and page templates alter the copyright and save.

All pages will them be updated.

The only other one to do is the index.php page.
