Single Domain License

I just read about your change to single domain licensing. While I understand and, in fact, appreciate, your response to ISPs that are giving the product away, I do have a couple of questions.

For those of use who purchased the product (PowerStore3) a couple of months ago when the license was "unlimited" domains (if I recall correctly), can you legally restrict us now after the fact (since the horses are out of the proverbial barn)?

What if I have already built multiple stores with my original PS3 version (like the ISPs who have effectively "given away" ($3) numerous stores as an "added" benefit to hosting with them?

Thanks,
Robert

That is correct, if you purchased after March 17, 2010, then that is when the new licensing agreement came into effect. If you purchased before then it is still under the developers license, where its one license per developer and you can deploy it multiple times.

Thanks Jimmy.

Can you please post somewhere the cutoff dates for all the solutions (and the version) that now have a single domain license. That would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Robert

Ok, from the thread in the Announcements, it appears that the cutoff date for implementation of the single domain licenses for all solutions is March 17, 2010. So, if you purchased (any solution, not just PowerStore3) before that date the unlimited license applies....if on or after then the single domain license if in effect? Am I stating this correctly?

Thanks,
Robert
