Create Administrative Back End for Application

Support:

Good Morning:)

I created using DataAssist and Security Assist a pages that my client can add Current Events to a MySQL db on my server. I want to create a quick set of pages using SiteAssist as a Control Panel or Admin Area for them to edit, delete, and view records in the db.

So I created some pages using Site Assist. Now do I just copy and paste my existing code generated by DA & SA into those pages? or is there an easier way to do this??

Please let me know asap, as I would like to have something to so my client by weeks end. Thanks!

Best,
Renea

There are a couple of ways that you can do this. You can either copy and paste from the original pages into your new SiteAssist pages, or you can create new pages based on the SiteAssist template, then edit your SiteAssist site to include these new pages.

If you copy and paste you will need to ensure that you get all of the server side code in the new pages above the doctype declaration, then you will copy the form and contents of the page into the body of the SiteAssist pages.
