Checkout Wizard's asking me for valid connection...

Checkout Wizard's asking me for valid connection...

I am trying to set checkout wizard by choosing "no payment gateway" (on localhost server.)
I don't need to set up shipping, or taxed, either.
Then for "Store order summary in database" panel, I choose "Create using preset" - Default, and for "Connection" I choose localhost.

eCart doesn't seem to like localhost as a Connection.
It asks me to "select a valid conection to continue."

(I looked into "help", but nothing mentioned about connection.)

What do you think I am doing wrong?

Thank you for your help as always.

Have you tried clicking define and testing the connection to see if the connection is created successfully?

Hi Jimmy,

Yes, tested and connection is working just fine (for localhost connection),
which I did by pressing "define" button.
Then I try to go to the next step, I get the message saying "Please select a valid connection to continue."

What could be the problem?

(My localhost server is run on MAMP.)

Thank you for your help.

Hi Jimmy,

I've been working on the problem, couldn't do much about the connection since it was working fine. So I re-created tables for Orders and Order Details in my MySQL detabase, to see if it would make any difference. Not really sure if this was one to make actuall difference, but after I tried Checkout Wizard again, this time worked!

Sorry for the trouble, these days this happens a lot: I was so desparate so I ask you guys, then I ended up solving problems!
I don't mean to swing you around, really!

Its great to see you were able to get the wizard working. If you run into any additional issues, feel free to open a new thread.
