One Page Checkout

Is it possible to have a one-page checkout for the customer?

Is there any value to having a one page checkout?

I see no reason why you could not have a one page checkout but it would require some work on the PHP and HTHL.

Perhaps a better question would be " what are you trying to acheive?" once we know that I'm sure we can all assist you.

By one page checkout, do you mean having the cart, checkout, confirm and success all on one page? This would require quite a bit of customization and I'm not sure how much added value it would bring to the store. People are used to having to checkout on multiple pages and even if you have a one page checkout, you'd have to go through all the steps required to checkout, it would just be displayed on the same page.

I'm with you. What I was trying to achieve was a quicker way for customers to checkout and to reduce the amount of clicks it took to complete the transaction.

You are right, people are conditioned to move through a couple of screen.

Yes, its true that if you could checkout all on one page without having to go through a bunch of steps would be faster, but then people wouldn't be able to verify the purchase being the one they want, the shipping information being correct, etc. Its better to stick with something people are more used to.
