Custom styles bug

When is the Custom styles bug going to be fixed?
HTMLEditor have been around for a while now. So I think it's very poor not to have fixed it yet.

It is such a important feature. I cant show it to customers without the custom styles showing in the styles list.

Olle

As far as I'm aware, there is no 'bug'. What happens for you?

Is the HTMLEditor part of PowerCMS or PowerStore, or in a Custom Page? Is The HTML Editor folder in the root directory of your site, or in a sub-directory?

Have you checked the forum for answers?

Well, you where involved in the discussion

showthread.php?t=10566

Look at the bottom of page 1.
Bug #2) If you want custom styles to show up in the styles list of the editor you cannot save your settings as a preset. The minute you check "save as preset" and give them a name you will loose your styles.

Confirmed by Dani Chankhour.

And as described abowe I cant have custom styles when using a preset.

I'm sorry,

Your first post confused me.

You said there was a bug, (without further qualification) and went on to say, "It is such a important feature. I cant show it to customers without the custom styles showing in the styles list."

So that wasn't the issue at all, as you know you can show any Editor instance to your customers with the custom styles showing in the styles list.

The post you referenced proved it.

You should perhaps have asked about saving an instance with custom styles as a preset.

The "I can't show it to my customers . . . " bit was irrelevant in the context of this post (being untrue).

This issue was discovered just over one month ago (2/28 is the date the bug was logged).

I can confirm that we have fixed it and are doing some QA testing, the fix will be included in the next dot release of HTML editor.

Hi Jason,

That sounds good. How will the preset work, though?

If I have a site built with a set of site styles, and these styles are added to the HTML editor and saved as a preset, then when it comes to my next site, where the site styles are different, would I need to create a new preset from scratch, or can I start with my last preset, modify just my custom styles and (presumably) save that as a new preset?

to be honest, I haven't installed the new build, so cant really comment on how it will work.

Hi
I'm sorry if I confused you. As English is not my naitive language, it can sometimes be hard to describe a problem so that all morons can understand it ;)
