Charging tax to all 50 states

How do I set my store to charge tax to all 50 states? As I see it I can only set it up to charge tax in one state. Please help. Thanks

If you leave the state blank, it will charge taxes for everyone. If you specify a state, then the tax will only be applied to that state.

If charging tax I thought you were to charge tax for the state the product is shipped from.
I'm in Ohio and all my products ship from Ohio, so if someone in Ohio purchases from my store I charge Ohio sales tax, otherwise no tax.
Correct or not?

Talk to your accountant. The site I built for a client in Missouri was told to charge tax in all 50 states, I also thought it was as you said, but the laws are always changing. Hope that helps.

I think the laws differ in each state, so you should check the tax laws for online sales before setting up your taxes.
