"Fatal error" Question

After I finished adding images to Power Gallery and ckicked "Add To Site" I get this

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_ireplace() in /home/norwoodc/public_html/powergallery/admin/addtosite.php on line 9"

I added images once before without any problem but this time I am getting the error above.

I looked at line 9 but I don't know what I'm looking for, can anybody help with this.

Thanks,
jhatley

Are you running php 5 on your server? When you setup the PowerStore did it pass the initial checks? From what I have read you may need to have php5 installed for this to work. You can check on this by creating a php info page then browsing to it on your server.

To make a php info page create a new page and add this line of code to it:

php:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

This will give you stats on your php server, check to see the version that is listed.

You can probably just change str_ireplace to str_replace on line 9 in the admin/addotsite.php file. That should still work ok for this page.

"Fatal error" Question

I changed str_ireplace to str_replace and now get this . . .

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: simplexml_load_file() in /home/norwoodc/public_html/powergallery/admin/addtosite.php on line 74

What next,

Both str_ireplace and simplexml_load_file are built in functions for PHP5. You said you have PHP5 installed, so the only other thing it could be is your host might have these functions disabled. Can you post a link to your php info page you made so we can see what settings it lists?

The fix is going to be working with your host and having them make sure PHP5 has the standard functions it normally should. PowerGallery requires a normal PHP5 installation to work properly.
