download button trigger option no button: download pressed

Hi,

I am following the instructions (digital_file_pro_2_gsg.pdf)of making a download button using digital file pro. I do not get the option to select 'button: download pressed' only 'before page load', 'current page submit', and '***no rules defined***'.

I took a chance with 'current page submit', but it did not work.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi there,

Make sure you have a button on the page, and that it is inside <form></form> tags.

DW Menu > Insert > Form > Button > Give it an ID and click OK > You should get a message window asking if you want to add a form tak. Click 'Yes', and save the page.

The form/button in code-view should look something like:

<form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="">
<input type="submit" name="download" id="download" value="Submit" />
</form>

You should now have the option to select (in this example) 'Button: Download pressed'.
