Changing the Base Most Purchased Sample Product Pod in PS3

I am completely new to web development and bought PS3 to start my first ecommerce site. I am making good progress using the Admin area to change most of the content but there is no facility within the included CMS to change the default contents of the pod which displays a sample product (alloy wheel at $249.99) which I assume is coded somewhere.

I don't want that content in that pod but I don't know where to look to change it. Can anyone help me?

You can change the featured product on the home page of the admin section. It is at the bottom. You will update the item you would like to be the featured item and click on the button in the upper right to make it the featured item.

For the most popular item this is based on the item that has sold the most. To update the item you can just put your store in test mode, then make a test purchase for an item. It will then have the most ordered and be the featured product. You can also update the content for the featured item pod in the admin area under the content tab for the Home Page.

Thanks for that Eric and I understand - however I want to totally change the most popular item pod into something else by altering the code. I'm comfortable with tackling the code - I just don't know where that file is - can you tell me where?
