Have map display item selected in a table

Hi,

This is my first experience with WA Google Maps.

I have a table on my page 2010NationalMap.html with a few items listed, with the map displayed below. I have entered the items listed in the table into the WA Map Wizard.

Now I would like to add the ability so when someone clicks the icon in the table, that location on the map will display the info window for that location.

Thanks,
Dennis

You should take a look at the How to change which address your map centers on PDF in the How To's section of the support page:
pro-maps-for-google/

There's some other helpful tutorials in there as well.

Thanks Jimmy,

Worked great. I had skimmed through those documents, but I didn't catch on to what it ment at first.

I have one entry that uses coordinates. Can this code be changed to accept them, and how would I enter Lat: 42.79275, Lon: -77.608817 ?

<a href="#" onClick="wagmp_map_1_obj.getPointByAddress('Address').marker.openInfoWindowHtml(wagmp_map_1_obj.getPointByAddress('Address').address.infowindowtext);">Link to map</a>

Also when I click on an icon (in my table) to bring it up in the map, instead of the page moving down to the map, it actually jumps up to the top of the page. Can you suggest a way to get the focus (of the page) to jump down to the map?

Thanks
Dennis

To scroll it down to a certain point in the page, there are some suggestions here:
590402-scroll-move-webpage-location-upon-load

To scroll to the latitude or longitude point, you would have to write the link code slightly differently:
<a href="#" onClick="wagmp_map_1_obj.getPointByAddress('42.79275', 'latitude').marker.openInfoWindowHtml(wagmp_map_1_obj.getPointByAddress('42.79275', 'latitude').address.infowindowtext);" >Link to map</a>

If you wanted to reference the point by longitude, you could do the same thing, just change latitude to longitude and replace the 42.79275 with the -77.608817.
