Theme-It, PowerStore3 Button colour changes

Theme-It, PowerStore3 Button colour changes

Theme-It working, PowerStore3 working.

I have tried using Theme-It to change the colours throughout the PS3 site. Whilst most changes successfully take place, there are some which still remain WABlue.

When testing the User view, the Homepage "learn more" buttons are still WABlue, and also the icons beside "Featured Product", "About Our Store" and "Most Popular". Exactly as one would expect from the video at theme-it/

My lesson from this is that Theme-It will change the unlocked Dreamweaver files, but cannot change the Image files. Logical, of course, but it was images that remained WABlue. And the demo showed the "replacement" of one icon by another.

I thought I'd add this comment. My customer had not "finalised" his colour scheme, but wanted to see some sample pages in different colours.

Rather than change the colour of these buttons before he decided on his colour scheme, I used Photoshop to make transparent .png images with a transparent background and a border (in Layer Styles I ticked Outer Glow, Inner Glow to make it stand out more) and text in the same colour as the site text. Then, wherever I put the buttons, the colours I had chosen in Theme-It showed through. And I will have less work to do once final colour decisions have been made.
