Repete Selection

Can I use a session from a previous page to specify the number of repeats?

i.e. use a select menu (on page one) to specify number of repeats on page two.

I have tried myself to achieve this but have had no luck so far.

Or if i need to do something else please let me know.

Iv attached the 2 pages iv been working with.

Any help most appreciated

Kind regards

John

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say dynamic select. Do you mean a dynamic repeat region or do you mean a dynamic select list?

If you mean setting up a dynamic repeat region, you can do this by modifying the code for a regular repeat region:
<?php do { ?>
safa
<?php } while ($row_Recordset1 = mysql_fetch_assoc($Recordset1)); ?>

You would want to add a counter variable to the php loop and make the while comparison run while the counter is less than the session variable that is passed in from the form. It appears your form is using post as the method, so you would get the form element values using $_POST, rather than $_SESSION.

You can get rid of the code similar to this, since its only needed if you are using the repeat region with a recordset:
<?php
mysql_free_result($Recordset1);
?>
