Free Shipping with FedEx on Certain Products

Thread began 3/08/2010 12:01 am by psychobilly1165508 | Last modified 3/08/2010 6:11 pm by Jason Byrnes | 562 views | 1 replies |

Free Shipping with FedEx on Certain Products

I'm using FedEx and tried to implement free shipping for certain products. (eCart 4.5)

It works fine as long as the products that get free shipping are not in the cart at the same time products that get shipping charges.

When the 2 are in the cart, FedEx calculates all the products shipping.

Here's my shipping rule ("shippingcharge" is a cart column):

FedEx shipping quote !=0
AND Number of items with shippingcharge of 1 > 0

Calculation based on FedEx shipping quote value

So the question is how can I only calculate FedEx shipping for particular products?

Fedex calculates the shipping based on the Weight of the products being shipped. make sure that the items that are getting free shipping have a weight of 0.
