Order of Product Options in Dropdown List

Hi,

I'm using PS3 and have a product that has the following options in the desired order (with their DB record ID)

ID Value
--+---------
8 Small
9 Medium
12 Large
15 X-Large
16 XX-Large

However, in the options dropdown for that product, the order is as follows:

X-Large
Small
Medium
Large
XX-Large

I have tried altering the OptionValues recordset def in the "Product_Detail.php" as follows (text in bold is my mod):

SELECT ps3_options.OptionID, OptionName
FROM ps3_options INNER JOIN ps3_optiongroups ON ps3_optiongroups.OptionGroupID = ps3_options.OptionGroupID
WHERE ps3_options.OptionGroupID = OGIDParam
ORDER BY ps3_options.OptionID ASC

but to no avail.

Any ideas?

TM

Try changing the order to ORDER BY ps3_options.OptionName ASC

It turns out there are 3 places where the "OptionValues" recordset is defined (see attached annotated screenshot).

The "ORDER BY ps3_options.OptionID ASC" directive must be set in at least the last such definition.

That is correct, there is three different record sets, one for each of the type of the options PowerStore have.
