Slideshow in 1.1.0

I have updated my Power Gallery to 1.1.0 today and was pleased to see that there were a couple of slideshow themes.

Unfourtunately the themes crop the images to one landscape ratio unlike some of the other themes which display the photos at the correct ratio within the display area. As I use a number of h+w ratios this make the slideshow options thus far somehwat less than useful.

An example of this can be seen at

index.php?gallery=3&theme=dark

the photos should look like

index.php?gallery=3&theme=dark

What I would preferably like on all galleries is some way of starting a slideshow or pausing one as well as that is there already. Would it also be possible to put the controls like play/next/previous/first/last outside the area image area.

The slideshows use the cropped images to make the effects more consistent. The blinds one works only with the cropped version. If you used the dissolve one though, you can change it to use the proportional images. On line 14 in the galleries/slideshow_dissolve/index.php file, changing 782c to 782p would change it.

The dissolve one also has controls for the slideshow. The blinds and wide galleries are more designed to be unattended slideshows.

However, check out this sweet piece of documentation on how to further customize the slideshows: custom_slideshows.php
