Accessing Dashboard directly without needing user & password

First, please sing a praise for Jason!

Ok, successful install and can access my site - mysite.com - perfectly. I am concerned however that when I go to - mysite.com/admin - I am directed straight to Dashboard, rather than to a login page asking for my user name and password. A security concern for sure and now the question is - "how to fix"?

Surely I'm missing something simple, but I'm not finding the answer in previous threads. Maybe it is just staring me in the face it's so simple.

Thanks again, Jason, as well as to anyone that can help me now

P.S. I have deleted the install folder from the remote files.

Have you already logged in previously on that same browser? If you have, then you will not be sent to log in again unless the session ends. To test this, try shutting down your browser completely and then try acceessing the admin pages again.

No problem. Its the same way a lot of sites work. If you log in and close just the window and not shut down the browser completely, you won't have to log in again if you access the site. If you run into any additional issues, feel free to open a new thread.
