Hi
Trying to filter a recordset from a numerical date column entry as a day of the week, eg Friday. IE the following doesn't work:
SELECT *
FROM table
WHERE tableDate LIKE '%Friday%'
ORDER BY homeDate ASC
Any ideas

you could try the mysql dayname function.
info about it here...
date-and-time-functions.html
here is an example...
SELECT description, date, dayname(date) AS day FROM `tablename` WHERE dayname(date) LIKE '%Monday%'
