Changing price based on form of payment

Hi,

Is there a way to change the price of the product based on what form of payment to use?

The quick answer is yes, this is possible, however depending on exactly how you would like it to work will dictate if it is feasible and how it should be incorporated. Post back with some more info about your specific circumstances and how you would like it to work and we can let you know what we think about it.

Well, if they pay right away, it would be one rate. If they decide to put it on credit, it would be more expensive. This is for a small medical company that sells expensive items, so the price goes up if they don't pay for it immediately.

global discount ?

if the price is cheaper across the board when paid immediately, you could have a radio button for cash / account and set a session variable to the value.

you could then set up a discount in the cart in the same way as if using a voucher, if cash is chosen. (ie discount a cash payment rather than penalise an account payment)
