CSS Form

Hi,

I have used Form builder to build a form but have the following problem:

When I Insert into a web page that has several colomns the form goes straight to the bottom of the page where the side panels end.

I have tried to adjust the Css to sort this but with no luck, can someone help. The forms work well when placed on a web page with no sides to it.

My web pages I use Eric M to create.

Kind Regards

Brian

neilo

Hi Tyler,

In the stylesheet 'CSSFormBuilder/FD_Cool_Default.css' try the following changes:

[The 'overflow:hidden' property should allow the form to position where it should, the other suggestions are to bring the right border back to fit corectly.]

/* form general definition */
form.Cool_Default {
padding:0 0 0 0;
margin:0 0 0 0;
color:#b6b6b6;
font-size:11pt;
font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
width:690px; /* try changing to this */
overflow:hidden /* try adding this */
}

form.Cool_Default div.fullColumnGroup {
width:628px; /* try changing to this */
padding-bottom:8px;
padding-top:8px;
display:inline;
float:left;
}

form.Cool_Default textarea.formTextarea_Medium {
background-color:#e5e5e5;
color:#000;
padding:5px 5px 5px 5px;
width:372px; /* try changing to this */
height:150px;
white-space:pre;
overflow:auto;
margin:0;
border-width:0;
margin-left:2px;
}

The overflow:hidden should allow the form to position where it should, the other suggestions are to bring the right border back to fit corectly.

Worked

Hi,

Many thanks I have changed the width and overflow and now works a dream.

I can now use the overflow on future forms that have several colomns.

Cheers

Brian
