multiple row insert, selected rows

I have a product table whose items can belong to one or more categories.
When adding a new item to my products table, i want to be able to associate the new item with multiple categories
I have used the datassist wizard to insert multiple rows from text fields, how can i use my category recordset to do something similar, using the recordset rows to populate the form, then inserting all rows whose checkbox is ticked ?

Craig,

You need to use the manage multiple tables wizard, I have done this using multiple select lists previously.

thanks for the file Dave, i took a look, but it is a lot to digest.

To help get me started on the front foot, is there such a thing as a walkthrough or a solution guide to managing relational tables ?

I am pretty confident around mysql, and i have gone through the wizard.

i dont get any errors, (but i don't get rows updated either).

make sure that either your update code is before your recordsets or refresh the page by redirecting so that the latest info is displayed
