Progress Bar not displaying.. a problem for others too..

Hello,

After futzing around with a few different issues (why do I always have to do this!!!) I found a solution to one of my problems in the following thread:

showthread.php?t=2693&highlight=progress+bar

It would seem that I am also suffering from DFP not using the correct directory as a default. it omitted the "../../" before the .js call.

Has this issue been logged? When will a fix be available?

Thank you.

Why do these "Known Issues" not make it into the "Known Issues" sections for the products???

We do not have a fix at this point, as soon as we do have a fix for the problem, we will either add it as a known issue or release an update.

If this is a "Known Issue" which it is, why does it not get put into the "Known Issues" immediately?

That's the first place I look for "Known Issues" with a product...

We announce known issues when we have identified a fix for the problem. To be 100% honest, until you posted this thread, we had not isolated the cause of the issue. We now have an idea on the cause of the problem and will have a fix for it soon. Once we do, we will post a known issu pack that includes the fix.

I think that you are missing my point. :)

I understand that you don't have a fix yet, however, if a user knows that this issues exists, the fix is easy to code in manually.

The only way for a user to know that this issue exists is to read about it. Fix or not it is a "Known Issue", which is where I would start looking for a solution if I had a problem that was unknown to me.

If that isn't where you want to put it, may I suggest a sticky in this forum that lists the problem and the solution to it. It wouldn't even require users to perform a search for it.. as it would be stuck to the top of the product forum page.

Then once the fix is in place you could remove it. :)
