Site Import 303 does not work

Site Import 303 does not work

As the last two forum members posted this extension just does not work. I have already tried all of the suggestions WA has referred forum members to try; not of the routines work.

I believe the flaw is in the java script implementation, and I have uploaded the two most frequent error messages.

The extension stalls, causing Dreamweaver CS3 to become unresponsive. Some progress is shown, but there is a flaw in the way the Floater panel is updated to display the progress bar. At this point no further files are downloaded.

The site I was trying to import was t-enami.org; the site is extremely simple and straight forward, and all files seem to be in the same domain.

I need this extension to work.

Site Import 303 not launching

I am also faced with a Site Import 303 issue.

I followed the instructions and delete the cache file. I installed and uninstalled Site Import twice and I still have this frustrating message:

While executing onResize in WA_SiteTools_Progress.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

In file "WA_Site_Tools_Progress":
refreshUI is not defined

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Site Import 303 not launching

I haven't tried renaming the folder because it means uninstalling ALL my current extensions and re-installing ALL my current extensions + re actovation which is really a pain and very time consumimg.

Isn't there some sort of more targeted troubleshooting that can be done?

I understand your point. The reason that i told you to rename your configuration folder, because that fixed the issue with the javascript error messages. But you can try uninstalling Site Import first, and then browse to this location:

--Hard disk: Users: <Your User Name>: Library: Application Support: Adobe: Dreamweaver CS4: en_US: Configuration: Shared: WebAssist:

and delete the ImportSite folder. Then Install Site Import (Make sure to select Yes to All), delete the cache file and then start DW.

Site Import 3.03 error

Hi Dani,

I followed your instructions and it looks like it resolved the issue. I have uninstalled SiteImport, deleted the cache file again and this time, it seems to work.

For Win7 users, the path to the Adobe configuration folder is C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist

Thanks

I have followed the instructions and reinstalled 4 times, deleted the cash, delete the inport site, reinstalled etc.
I get at line 393 of file C:\program Files\ Adobe \adobe dreamweaver CS4\configuration\floaters\WA_progress|WA_ProcessingObject.js":Exception thrown in native function.
I hope you can help, as I bought the software to use it and I have not been able to do so unntil now.

You probably have to rename your configuration folder, please browse to:

C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US

and rename your configuration folder, then open the extension manager and uninstall the extension and then try to install it again. That should resolve the error you are getting.
