Dynamci selection then insert into corresponding table..

Hi All,

I am trying to get a dynamic pulldown menu that once a selection is made it then in turn will insert into the corresponding table. I am not sure how to get the values into the right tables once selected. The main issue is how to I post the data that is inserted into this form to a specific table once it is selected from the pull down menu? All the tables have the same two cols that I am trying to insert the date to. 1.) meta_desc and 2.) meta_key.

Here is a an eample of two tables.:

ski_boats
used_boats

(both have the meta_desc and meta_key)

How do I get these values to post to the corresponding table from the select?

If you have the information in a form on the page already you just need to add in a DataAssist insert server behavior to insert the information into your table. Have you tried applying the insert server behavior yet? If so what troubles are you having with it?

If you have not done this it should be your next step. Let us know if you have any other questions about this.
