Repeat region not emailing

Repeat region not emailing

I have a page with 2 recordsets. One that pulls in the email address i want to send to and one to pull in the information I want to send.

I have created a copy of what I want to email on this page so i can see what will be sent.

At the top of the page is a button to send the emails.

I have set up the Universal Email and copied the data from this page into the body section of the email. I have made sure the fields are bound correctly using the bindings panel.

It all seems to work ok and i can see the data I want to send via the recordset in a repeat region on the page. The problem is when I click the button to send the emails the page refreshes without the data from the recordset and although the email sends ok it doesn't include any of the data from the recordset.

I have attached a copy of the files

can you send a copy of the Report_newsletter_Results.php page that has the universal email behavior applied to it?

the email is using SpecialOffers recordset. This recordset is filtered on the Newsletter querystring variabel.

The querystring variabel is passed in when the Report_newsletter_Results.php first loads, but it is not passed again when the form submits so the recordset is not being filtered.

change the forms action to pass any querysting variabels:
<form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="<?php echo $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"]; ?><?php echo (isset($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]) && $_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] != "")?"?".$_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]:""; ?>">

I have added that code. I tested it and it sent to the first email address on the list ok. But all of the others receive a blank email. The page also returns blank - without the data but the url does contain the variables.

if the page is displaying blank, it suggests a php error is occurring.

Add the following to line 1 to turn error reporting on:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

I have added it but it doesn't display any errors. It also does display ok when you first view the page it is only when I click the send email button and the page refreshes that it doesn't display.

Aswell as that - it does send correctly to the first email on the list (with all data) the problem is with all the other emails in the recordset.
