Nubie troubles w/ first CSS form

Side question... I suppose since the WebAssist stuff is primarily extensions, the chunky/choppy Dreamweaver execution is to be expected? But I am getting a number of L O N G pauses and some flat-out lockups. Is there something simple to avoid this?

The real question for this post... Once I create a new CSS form, I cannot get back in for editing. Scenario: New PHP Page in DW. Save it. Open it. Insert CSS Form-> Registration-> Simple Registration. Design->Standout. Save it. Open it and try to “click inside the form and choose WebAssist->CSS Forms Builder->Insert Form. Every time I do this, no matter where I “click inside the form”, I get the “new form” mode with no preview of the existing form. I know this editing workflow works because I can open and edit many of the canned WA forms from the User Registration Prebuilt Solution.

I'm new to this too but i think I might be able to help you on this one in case you're wanting to work on it this weekend.

Click on the blue tab that appears in the top left of the form when you click on the form in design view. The properties box will then show buttons for "Edit Form", "Edit Design" and "Edit Contents".

There are definitely some performance issues that you might encounter when using this extension in DW. Most of the time your performance will depend on how your form is setup and all that is occurring within it.

As for editing the form the last response was exactly right, you need to select the form on the page and click on one of the edit buttons to make changes. Clicking on edit form will only allow you to edit the form preset, to change form look or contents you must select either edit design or edit contents.

Wow. Even with that spoon-feeding it took me more time than I'd like to admit to find it (I was not looking in the page itself for the "tab"). But I've got it now. Thanks. I'm sure I'll be back!

LOL, I got to know that one real well since I've been screwing up so much that I've had to do it about 50 times over the past week!
