Local SERVER DIAGNOSTIC CHECK fails at step 1 - :-(
The remote server install wizard worked perfect for PowerStore 3.
Local machine... Not so good.
I am running XAMPP 1.7.3. I extracted the Powerstore3 files to a Dreamweaver folder (xampp/htdocs/MySite). When I run the Wizard through Internet Explorer or Firefox on the local machine from the install folder I get the Getting Started screen but then the server diagnostic check fails through all checks.
It comes up with this error.

I came across bits and pieces on this subject in the Forum Posts but so far nothing to fix my issue.
I changed the privileges for the local folder to Read/Write, but the server checks still fail. Also noticed a Connections folder does not get created like it does on the remote server.
I reinstalled several times but get the same results everytime.
Tech Support is closed till Monday but, if anyone else out there knows or even has a hunch about how to get the server diagnostic check (local) to run successfully I sure would be grateful. Everything seems to be in order. XAMPP is running along with MySQL. Localhost is working, PHPMyAdmin also works locally. HMMMMM? What could it be?
Have a nice weekend, AND KEEP CODING!
