Trouble using CSS menu writer with FTP

I'm having trouble with CSS menu writer.

It works fine when i create a local site, but when trying to use menu writer with a remote site using FTP (like i do with all of my other webassist products), i get the error

Error generating menu (wa.generate.getBodyHTML): TypeError: testURL has no properties

I cannot create any sort of menu. Please help. Thanks

Are you getting this error in DW when you are trying to create a menu? You mention that you are able to create a menu locally, are you able to upload that menu to your testing server? Please post back and let us know what is occurring and where, also if you have a link that would be very helpful.

CSS Menu Writer

I am getting the same error:

error generating menu(wa.generate.getBOBYhtml): typeError: testURL has no properties

The error occurs when I initialize the menu writer. The menu writer loads and then the error pops up.

I have tried unistalling the extension and reinstalling with the same issue. I am not trying to use the menu writer with ftp, I am just trying to use the software.

I am running DW CS4.

Any help would be great.

Do you have a testing server set up in your site definition?

you can set the testing server to be the same as the remote server if you do not have a local testing server configured.
