Authorize.net variables not transfered

I am having a problem with my Checkout page where I have added a couple of extra fields for customers to enter their business name and business facility number. For some reason, I cannot get these 2 variables to either write to the database, or to get them through to authorize.net to where they show up on our receipts, even if I use a predefined authorize.net variable to label my entry field.

To get them into your db you will need to ensure that you have the columns for this info in the table, then you will need to configure the store order summary or store order details server behaviors on the confirm page to add your values to these columns.

For the Authorize.NET variables what are you setting and where?
