Dreamweaver crashes after DataAssist 2.0.6 installed

after installing 2.0.6 Dreamweaver won't start. Uninstalling or deactivating DataAssist allows Dreamweaver to start.

I have deinstalled DataAssist 1.3.1 and also deleted the cache

here is part of the error....

When you installed did you choose 'yes to all' when asked to overwrite existing files? You will need to do this when installing the newer extension. Also, after it is installed and you get this error have you tried to clear the cache? A restart of your machine might be in order as well.

If doing these things makes no difference then there may be a corruption of the configuration folder, here are some steps you can take for that if it is the issue.

Delete the dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder:

Ok, so I cleared the configuration folder again and re-enabled my extensions one at a time.

I started with DataAssist 2.0.6
then
eCart 4.5.2
iRite 1.0.3
Digital File Pro 2.0.2
Universal Email 3.0.6
Validation Toolkit 2.3.4
SecurityAssist 1.1.8
Pro Maps for Google 1.0.4
Database Search 1.4.1 - Dreamweaver crashes

after clearing the config folder again, re-enabling all bar the Database Search Dreamweaver works.
Database Search 1.4.1 is the latest version, as is DataAssist 2.0.6 so this would suggest that there is some incompatibility between the two?

when I try to use any WA extension I now get this type of error...

While executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder Ser.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured:

At line 214 of file "Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CS4:Configuration:Shared:WebAssist:ApplicationBuilder:Library:Shared_Ser_Mactivation.js":
document.formatLayer.document has no properties

I've cleared the Dreamweaver cache and re-booted

Database Search and DataAssist 2 cannot be installed at the same time together. DataBase 2 includes all of the functionality of DataBase search.

On the download page for DataAssist 2, there is the following note:

Please note: This version of DataAssist includes all the functionality of the older Database Search. If you have Database Search installed, you must remove it completely before installing DataAssist.
