Powerstore 3 Install problem

When trying to install Powerstore 3 on step 1 I get the following error and cannot proceed
File Permissions
Files and directories cannot be created. Verify the powerstore directory has write permissions on your server.
It is in the root of the site so there should be no problem or do I need to chmod certain files if so I have not been able to find anything in the documentation that explains it.

the install script will try to create the Connections/PowerStoreConnection.php file at the root of the PowerStore site.

This error can occur if the root does not allow read write permissions, or if the Connections folder is not created with read write permissions.

check to see if the Connections folder did get created. If it did, double check that is was created with read Worte permissions. If ot was not created, you will need to chmod the root of powerstore to allow read write. If it did get created, chmod the Connections folder to allow read write.

Powerstore Install - Step 5 Question

I've made it to step 5! However, what is signature and where do I get it? Also, just to make sure, user & password = what was filled out in the step defining the store for administration purposes (I think it was step 3, maybe 4 not sure)? Thanks!

Step 5 is asking for your PayPal API Credentials. The Username Password and Signature are created by PayPal when you request API credentials for using the Payments Pro server from them.

I'm using Express. Any difference? Thanks

Nope, you still need API Credentials.

Jason,

Which USER should be allowed read/write privileges in the Connections folder?

Thanks!

the Owner and the User/Group should be granted read and write privileges.
