Test Environment

I manually set up my environment by installing Apache, PHP and MySQL, but it is not working right so I am thinking of usine XAMPP. Do I need to uninstall Apache and everything previously installed or can I just install XAMP over it, perhaps in a different directory?

It doesn't show me how to uninstall Apache 2.2. Any ideas? What I find on the Internet don't work!

The uninstall process is dependent on a few things like your OS and the type of package you installed.

if you are on windows computer and installed Apache using an MSI installer package, you should be able to uninstall by going to the add remove programs control panel.
