seach & result page

seach & result page

from what I understand DataAssist assumes there is only one seach page and there is a Result page.
Assume I have a search form at the index.php. After seaching for a product it will direct me to result.php. But I can also have a seach form at the top of the Result.php in case I want to search more. I do not need to go back to index.php to start seaching. I can start searching right away at the result.php.
How do you go about doing this?

copy the code for the search form from index.php and paste it into your results page.

when you say copy the search form, do you mean the generated PHP codes?

I mean the form that is created on the search page. from the opening form tag to the closing form tag.:
<form....
etc...
</form>
