Digital Goods

Can I use other WebAssist products to setup digital goods (Simple File Downloads) in my Powerstore . I have most other products including 'Digital File Pro'. If this is possible, is it a difficult procedure? I'm not an expert programmer.

Thanks in Advance

David

it is possible to add in support for digital goods but it is not a pre-built or supported feature of PowerStore.

The idea is that you would add in a column to your product table to hold the filename. You would then need to update your admin back end to work with column and set the value to the name of the file for the product.

Once you have the db and admin setup you can add the Digital File Pro download server behavior to your order history details page and trigger it off of the item selected. It is not the most straight forward process and require you to be familiar with implementing the Download server behavior.
