Page Email Verification Check is passing even when email verified record is empty.

Page Email Verification Check is passing even when email verified record is empty.

My site is now set up and running.

Email is sent to the correct location and received.
My database is running correctly and all pages that access the database are correctly changing entries.
Page access is checking for user log in and correctly redirecting access to the log in page if a user is not logged in.

I still have one problem though. If a user has registered and logged in but never responds to the verification email they are still granted access to the protected page, the profile page shows them as being verified, and the option for the email verify button is absent from the profile page.

It looks like all access and data checks for email verification pass even if the database record for the user shows them as never having verified via email.

Is there a setting I need to turn on so the email verification check works?

The email verification should work correctly by default, could you please send me a link so i can run a quick test.

Sure thing...

If you like I can zip the site and send it to ya too.

This is a test site so nothing you do on it will hurt anything.

Never mind. This morning I copied in the default configuration from the original zip file and everything works fine. Email verification is working. Something I did when I added the template and modified the files for look and feel must have broken it.

I'll start adding back in the template and such to see where I went wrong.

Sorry for the trouble. I can take it from here.
