Displaying a session variable

I am having problems with my dynamic data and I wanted to display the session variables to make sure I was passing the right variable. I tried to create a text box and then set the inital value to the session variable. Nothing is displaying. Do I need to do something else to diaply it to the screen?

You can add the session variable to the bindings panel of Dreamweaver. To do this, you will want to open the bindings panel, click on the "+" button and go to Session Variable. Type in the name of the session variable you want to add and hit ok. When this is done, you can drag the session variable to the page and it will display it.

Darn. That is pretty much what I am doing and there is not any data in the screen fields for the session variables. There are 3 session variables that am looking to retain, school_id, login, and level. I am using the WA Security Assist when I authentic my user. It all looks good in the setup. I just would like to see it live on a page and it I can't see to get that done, or maybe there is not any data in the session variables. What do you suggest?

Have you made sure that the session is started when you are setting the session variables? How are you setting the session variables that you are checking?

I am attaching my login and helper php pages. Do you see anything in these?

The session will be set after you are logged in, otherwise the session won't be set yet. Are you checking the sessions after you log in?
