iRite only available for PHP!!!!

I have both iRite and HTML editor, and I installed HTML editor by mistake rather than iRite because I want it to work on ASP.

I uninstalled HTML editor and installed iRite, in the webassist bar the name iRite appears, and so I launch it, but once launched it says to me HTML editor is only available for PHP... well, that's fine, but I am using iRite, not HTML editor and HTML editor has been removed from my PC.

So, why all of a sudden is iRite telling me I can't use it on ASP pages, and how do I correct it?

1) Was Dreamweaver closed when you uninstalled HTML Editor, then reinstalled iRite? Dreamweaver must be closed when managing extensions.

2) Have you deleted the dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

Yeah, I did quit DW before install, but the technote sorted it.
