Overcoming Default Limitations of PowerCMS

It was my expectation in purchasing PowerCMS that I would be able to deliver a platform to the client that would let him do something as simple as working up a document in HTML format, using whatever editor he prefers, such as Dreamweaver or even notepad, and then cut and pase that page into the CMS pages.

The default settings of PowerCMS don't appear to handle this well. All of the relative link images are not visible because the page expects them to be absolute. To test this, insert an image using the FCK editor and look at the url for the image.

Pasting source code in the source section of the FCK editor results in a complete restructuring of the page into a mess that could never receive subsequent HTML editing.

There are settings for the FCK editor that would allow the pasting of HTML documents, but I can't remember where they are and really expected this level of work to have already been incorporated into the product.

It seems I remember a few config files when I wrestled with iRite that are capable of addressing the matter.

Could you please post a "how to do it" set of instructions on this.

For all the time I have spent getting this product going, I could have built pages using DataAssist and iRite and completely ignored this not ready for prime time release.

The only feature that keeps me from asking for a refund on this whole thing is the "revert" option.
