Uploading photo with Digital File Pro and DataAssist

Using DataAssist 2.0.8 and Digital File Pro 1.1.3

Using DataAssist I setup an upload form. On the form is an image file upload behavior using Digital File Pro. I can insert a record fine. When I go to update the record and if I do not click Browse to upload a new photo, the Client File Name gets overwritten in the database with an empty string. I have looked on the forums and I'm supposed to be able to insert a hidden field (making sure it holds the recordset value) and bind it as the default file in the upload behavior. This is not working at all. The file field is entering an empty string regardless of the hidden field.

Any help?
