Color slider change error

Color slider change error

Using the sliders to change the color theme is not working. The change is not being reflected in the live update window below, or in the saved theme.
Also getting an internal 500 server error when trying to save or cancel the theme.

I have looked at other forum responses.

They suggested changing file permissions on the webassist folder and subfolders to 755.
Tried that and slider is still not working.

I am going to copy the webassist folder back to its original state and wait for help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
