PayPal Testing

I have a really nice eCart checkout system that I've just setup with AuthNet and PayPal.

Everything seems to be working great, except that when I order something and checkout through PayPal it doesn't seem like I actually get charged, nothing shows up on my personal Paypal account or the business one either.
I don't get any error messages at all!

This seems like a dumb question but I haven't been able to figure anything out, so I'm gonna go ahead ask it. Is there some sort of "test request" for PayPal like there is for AuthNet? The PayPal account I'm using is being used by another site right now, but as soon as my new one is finished it will replace the old one.
