adding another table in WHERE clause on results page

I use several related tables, like wine and region. I want to dsiplay the region on the wine results page. So, the foreign key in wine is just a number. IN CS5 my changes are kicked out if I close the changed recordset.

The original recordset is:
SELECT wineID, wgID, wineName, winePrice, weinPic, changed, sort
FROM wine
ORDER BY sort ASC
----------------------
what I intend to do is:
SELECT wine.wineID, wine.wgID, wine.wineName, wine.winePrice, wine.winePic, wine.changed, wine.sort, region.rgName, region.docID
FROM wine, region
WHERE region.docID = wine.wgID
ORDER BY wine.sort ASC

in order to display the region's name on the results page instead of its id.
But when I click on OK, the rcordset is turned to its original state.

Even if I edit the recordset by hand its turned back again on save. I don't know if this is a DW issue or if it has something to do with DA...
any idea?
