cannot edit conditional option name

I have tried this with different option names including test and random keystrokes.
It is not difficult to reproduce on my end. it will happen no matter what I put in there.
Please see this item for an example. I have just created it especially for this thread.

Products_Detail.php?ProductID=34

as you can see I have created a main options of called size. with values of small medium and large.

Each of those values (small , medium and large) have conditional Options. The title of the conditional option is Color. and the values for this conditional option are Red, Yellow and Blue.

If I want to change the name of the conditional option from Color to Colors (for example) it will not change. I can edit all of the values but just not the option name.

I don't believe that the problem is conditional upon what is typed into this field although i did initially expect something like this.

I have already reinstalled my PS3 using the latest version
Made all of the design changes by hand
created a brand new database
and begun entering products but still continue to have this problem.

Did you test this with your own installation? can you change the name of a conditional option? I wondered if it was a bug that just had not been notice before??
FYI, i can go into manage for the top level option and change the name of the option (in this case size) but the Conditional options name is where I'm having the problem.

thanks again, Nancy
