DW LiveView/Test Server Not showing php file

I am working on a DataAssist project and that is going well. But I am puzzled by a problem I'm having with displaying recordsets on a php page in DW LiveView or localhost using Mamp.

I have a php page which work fine until I put in the recordset. Then no longer seems to run the php code. I add the recordset and open bindings and put the items into the web page, but after I save it it no longer show up in Live View or local test. In fact with Live Code or Firebug it does not see any of the code except the opening html tag. The php pages created by DataAssist are working in LiveView.

I use a MAC and I have Mamp running no problem and the data is working otherwise?

Would someone who is better at PHP than me look at this file, because I think that the php tags may be in the wrong place in the code.

I've tried rebuilding the page an doing the Recordset as an insert and other things????
