Apostrophe generating backslash

Apostrophe generating backslash

I'm using a combination of Validation Toolkit 2.3.5 and Universal Email 3.0.7 on a form that sends an email after server-side validation is done.

I'm having a hard time with apostrophe entered in textfields and textareas... Even if I included an apostrophe in the "allow others" section of the Alphanumeric validation, apostrophe still triggers error, and when the page reloads with WA Validated Entries, apostrophe have been replaced by backslash+apostrophe. That means that my good friend O'Gallagher can't contact me via my form...

Manually adding stripslashes here and there in the WAUE mail files before it sends something does the trick to send proper apostrophe without validation, but is there something to do for validation and validated entries ?!?

Thanks in advance.
