file manager: thumbnaisl not showing

When I select an image, it displays in the HTML-editor window, so the images are on the server and the path is correct.
In the filemanager, I see thumbnails, but they're all the same, so I don't see a preview of the images on the server (see attached picture in my first post). When I right-click on the images and choose 'show image' in the file manager, I can see the images.
