custom browser toolbar

I would like to see an extension for creating custom browser toolbars...like the google toolbar. I recently made one from scratch for a client to access their admin content. It was really nice, but a lot of work in c# which I'm not super comfortable in.

I think this would be a really neat addition as I am seeing more and more sites offer custom toolbars for their sites. I checked out a couple of the online toolbar builders but I really don't like the idea of handing something off to a client if I don't know if there's something hidden inside the toolbar...like advertising snippets or worse.

I tried out conduit.com's builder( and that's exactly what I'm looking for )...it looked good and all...I built one and installed it. Worked great until I went to uninstall it..it corrupted my registry files and I spent Labor day reformatting my hard drive.
